Proyecto: La Familia (The Family Project)
Proyecto: La Familia (The Family Project) is a longitudinal study of 700 Mexican American families that will examine the interactions among individual, family, school, and community influences on development.
In particular, La Familia will focus on the combined influences of culture and context using a person-environment fit perspective. The first phase of the study follows families from the time their child is in 5th grade until the child makes the transition to junior high.
